| Cold Chills
I was there. With my forehead against the window. I felt the rain running down the window. It runs down. All the thin clear lines. The thunder soothes me. The lightening entertains and dances for me. I watch the people outside running. And walking and dancing and playing In this crystal warm rain. I put my hand on the window. The shadow's of the rain went over My hands and my face. I opened the window and climbed out to sit On the window ledge. The rain cleansed me. The rain washed away all that I thought was bad. I looked up at the sky. Full of grays and blues. And the sun started to shine. I sat there in my sun shower. Smiling and laughing away my sorrows. I sat there as the rain soaked my clothes And hid my tears. |
